Steel Deck

New Millennium engineers and manufactures the widest range of structural and architectural deck products and systems. Deck profiles are available in a variety of finishes and can be used in a wide range of applications requiring roofing and flooring and ceiling and cladding solutions. Deck products meet required steel deck certifications and are manufactured in accordance with the specifications of the Steel Deck Institute.

1.0RD, 1.0RDV Roof Deck

Type 1.0RD roof deck provides an economical option when support spacing is small. Where rigid roofing insulation is used with 1.0RD deck, a minimum 1" thickness is required.

Available as a vented deck, type 1.0RDV is manufactured with slot vents in the bottom flutes. The openings equal 0.5% of total surface. Type
1.0RDV is to be specified when venting is required for cementitious insulation fill

Standard B Deck

Type B (Wide Rib) roof deck provides the best balance of strength and economy of all the 1" deep roof decks. Where rigid roofing insulation is used with B deck, a minimum 1" thickness is required.

Standard N Deck

Type N (Deep Wide Rib) is well suited for applications where it is desirable to space the supporting members as far apart as possible. This is often the case in structures such as gymnasiums where it is usually more economical to minimize the number of long span structural members by using N deck to span large spaces.

Available as an acoustic deck, type NA is manufactured with perforations in the vertical ribs, having an NRC rating of 0.65 with or without rigid roofing insulation, as tested in accordance with ANSI/ASTM C423 and E795

Standard Composite Deck - 1.5CD, 1.5CDI Composite Deck

Type 1.5CD has embossments in the vertical ribs that bond with the concrete slab to develop a composite floor system. 1.5CD composite deck acts as a form during the concrete pour enabling the designer to space the structural members to over 11'-0" on center without any additional shoring. Once the concrete cures, the resulting composite floor system provides superior strength and stiffness.

Steel Deck Certifications

Steel Deck Institute Member Company fully approved to manufacture roof deck, form deck, and composite floor deck. F, B and N deck are Factory Mutual approved for use as a component in Class 1-60, 1-75, & 1-90 wind uplift metal roof decking construction. Steel Deck products are approved by Underwriters Laboratory and listed in the UL Fire Resistance Directory. All acoustical deck has been tested in accordance with ANSI ASTM C423 & E795 to determine the noise reduction coefficient (NRC) rating.

Steel Joists Joist Girders for Commercial Construction

New Millennium standard steel joist products and bar joists are designed and manufactured at our six plant locations in accordance with the specifications of the Steel Joist Institute. All standard profile steel joists are available with either under-slung or square ends. LH-Series and DL H-Series steel joists are available with single-pitched or double-pitched top chords. The depth indicated in joist designation is determined by the depth of single-pitched joists at the center of span and at ridge centerline of double-pitched joists. When top chord slope exceeds 1/8':12', total and live top chord uniform loads must be provided. All standard profile steel joists will be furnished with standard SJI camber as indicated in SJI Table 103.6-1, unless specified otherwise in contract documents.

Super Versa-Dek® Dovetail Roof Deck

Super Versa-Dek® is a deep dovetail hybrid structural roof deck unit fabricated using a (1 1/2" or 3" deep) top profile and a Versa-Dek® 3.5LS profile. This hybrid profile is mechanically fastened to provide a support surface for various types of above deck roofing materials. Super Versa-Dek® panels are delivered fully assembled to the job site for installations in simple span designs. The dovetail shape creates a lineal plank ceiling look that is wider than standard Versa-Dek®.

Cellular B Deck

BC-Dek is a 1" deep cellular structural roof deck unit that provides a support surface for various types of roofing materials. The liner panel with Dek-Knek™ Sidelap Attachment System provides a finished underside ceiling with self-aligning sidelaps and concealed fasteners. The acoustic version BCA-Dek features a perforated liner panel, providing a noise reduction coefficient (NRC) value of 0.70 when used with a rigid insulation. Fiberglass insulation batts are installed in the BCA-Dek cells at the factory under controlled conditions.

Available in a twenty-four and one-half inch (24") cover width

Cellular N Deck

NC-Dek is a 3" deep, cellular structural roof deck unit that provides a support surface for various types of roofing materials. The liner panel with Dek-Knek″ Sidelap Attachment System provides a finished underside ceiling with self-aligning sidelaps and concealed fasteners. NCA-Dek is a 3" deep, cellular, acoustical structural roof deck unit with a perforated liner panel that provides a noise reduction coefficient (NRC) value of 0.95 with rigid insulation. Fiberglass insulation batts are installed in the deck cells at the factory under controlled conditions.

Inverted N Deck

Inverted N Deck is the 3" N-Dek profile placed in the inverted position for a unique ceiling aesthetic appearance. The finished look provides a smooth ceiling appearance with heavy shadow lines. INA-Dek is a 3" deep, wide rib, inverted, acoustical structural roof deck unit that provides a support surface for various types of roofing materials with an NRC rating of 0.80 when used with rigid roofing insulation.

NW32™ and N Roof Deck

Types NW32 and N are 3-inch roof deck profiles that make large open spaces possible in structures such as gymnasiums, limiting the number of structural supporting members required. Choose from 32-inch coverage, standard 24-inch coverage, cellular and inverted configurations. NW32 is available with nested or interlocking side laps. N deck is available with nested side laps only. All NW32 and N deck variations are available with acoustical options.

Form Deck

Form deck is used extensively in floor construction as an economical form to support concrete slabs during construction. All of our deck products meet required steel deck certifications in accordance with the specifications of the Steel Deck Institute.

Form deck is available in lengths from 6'-0" to 40'-0". Please check with your local New Millennium facility for lengths outside these parameters. Conforms to ASTM A1008/A1008M for uncoated and painted deck, A653/A653M for galvanized deck. Approved by UL, LLC and listed in the UL and ULC Fire Resistance Directories.

Deep-Dek Composite

For clear spans up to 36 ft., Versa-Floor™ systems featuring Deep-Dek® Composite are the longest spanning floor systems available.

Deep-Dek® Composite combines the structural advantages of a flat-plate slab with the time and cost-saving advantages of a permanent form slab. Span-to-depth ratios equal those of traditional cast-in-place concrete and hollow-core plank. Space-saving Deep-Dek Composite floors weigh less than equivalent concrete floors and install faster.

Versa-Dek® Composite

Versa-Floor™ systems featuring Versa-Dek™ Composite are ideal for use in mid-rise residential structures. This system provides the thinnest total floor depth, reducing story height while maximizing ceiling height, with clear spans up to 28 ft.

Reduce costs by eliminating suspended ceilings. When left exposed, the dovetail design provides a clean, lineal-plank aesthetic for office, retail, and academic spaces. Versa-Floor' is non-combustible and is fire-resistance rated up to four hours without protective coverings such as gypsum and spray-on materials.

Optional acoustical treatments up to NRC 0.85 control noise reverberation within occupied spaces. Versa-Floor' can be supplied with a factory-applied primer option. Versa-Wedge' is a hanger system to suspend lighting or facilitate MEP integration.

Versa-Dek® Composite systems are ideally suited to work with light gauge structural steel wall systems. It also integrates with any beam or other bearing-wall method. Monolithically cast concrete finishes flat so it eliminates grouting and floor leveling activities.
