EXAMINATION
Do not begin installation until substrates have been properly prepared.
If substrate preparation is the responsibility of another installer, notify Architect of unsatisfactory preparation before proceeding.
PREPARATION

Prepare substrates using the methods recommended by the manufacturer for achieving the best result for the substrate under the project conditions. Do not proceed with installation until substrates have been properly prepared. Commencement of installation constitutes acceptance of conditions.

Install in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
Install products in strict compliance with manufacturer's recommendations.
Adjust gates to operate smoothly, easily, and quietly, free of binding, warp, or excessive distortion.
Adjust hardware and moving parts as recommended by manufacturer
