The Tensioned Advantage® ceiling recessed electric screen series is designed with ceiling trim in place, to conceal the rough opening eliminating the need to complete additional trim work once the screen is installed.

Its two-stage installation option affords the screen case to be installed during the rough-in construction stage, and the screen surface assembly during the finishing stage.

Sliding installation brackets allow mounting flexibility for easy attachment of the screen housing to the structure above the drop ceiling.

Tensioned Advantage with SightLine™

Da-Lite's new cable drop feature, SightLine, available with the tried-and-true Tensioned Advantage (up to 177" Diagonal 16:9 and up to 182" Diagonal 16:10) electric screen, gives the impression of a floating screen. A suspension system in its single roller design features 3 or 4 thin cables eliminating the need for black drop – the black border above the projection screen. While the market is accustomed to specifying drop distance upon ordering, now vertical placement of the screen can be variable as the cables accommodate a range of drop distances up to 70" (standard) or 10' (option) between the ceiling and the top of the screen – making ordering a snap. What's more, this feature creates usable space above the viewing area to preserve architectural interests and provides the opportunity for camera/speaker placement. Enhanced aesthetics, painless ordering, smooth installation and future proofing for height adjustability – this is the fine line between status quo and jaw drop.

Parallax Pure is an ambient light-rejecting technology that features a micro-layered optical lens system that rejects light. This new technology mimics the look of a television when it is on and when it is off, but without the glare from windows or lighting fixtures.

With extremely wide viewing angles, no speckle and no glare, the surface is ideal for applications in Pro AV as well as Home Theater. Additionally, the surface is flexible, ships in a roll and is easy to install.

Each layer of Parallax Pure plays a role in preserving the image that is reflected back to the viewer in high ambient light environments. The Screen Controller is an accessory for Da-Lite motorized projection screens with integrated low voltage control or an external low voltage control. This Screen Controller box allows remote control of a screen or control through a TCP/IP connection, VPI (Video Projector Interface) Trigger, Dry Contact and RS232 Communication.

The Screen Controller interface box is configured to supply every control configuration you might need for your projection screen and is powered by PoE (Power over Ethernet) that requires a connection to an ethernet switch that provides PoE+ power (30W minimum). If your switch does not provide this power or you are not planning on using an ethernet connection, you will need to use a PoE injector with the controller.

The Screen Controller has a web interface used for initial device setup, administrative control and operation. This device is compatible with the Vaddio Deployment Tool. The tool scans the network for Vaddio & Da‑Lite devices, lists them by model and IP address, identifies all devices that are not setup, and provides the controls to complete the initial device setup. It will also provide links to each device's web interface.

Optional kits are available to add a wireless remote. An IR remote transmitter and receiver or an RF (BLE) remote that pairs directly with the Screen Controller. Each kit is also available with or without a Luxul XPE-2500 PoE injector.

Da-Lite's cable drop feature, SightLine™, available with the tried-and-true Tensioned Advantage® and Advantage electric screens, gives the impression of a floating screen. A suspension system in its single roller design features 3 or 4 thin cables eliminating the need for black drop – the black border above the projection screen. While the market is accustomed to specifying drop distance upon ordering, now vertical placement of the screen can be variable as the cables accommodate a range of drop distances up to 70" standard and a 10' option between the ceiling and the top of the screen – making ordering a snap. What's more, this feature creates usable space above the viewing area to preserve architectural interests and provides the opportunity for camera/speaker placement. Enhanced aesthetics, painless ordering, smooth installation and future-proofing for height adjustability – this is the fine line between status quo and jaw drop.

The Video Projector Interface Trigger Module allows the screen to be raised or lowered automatically when projector is turned on or off. The Video Projector Interface Trigger Module is an adapter for low voltage controls used on Da-Lite motorized screens.

The RS-232 Interface is an adapter for low voltage controls used on Da-Lite motorized screens. This RS-232 Interface allows wired remote control of a screen.

The Ethernet Adapter for the RS-232 Interface allows the freedom of wired remote control of a screen through a TCP/IP connection. The Ethernet Adapter is classified as a serial device server, which means that it makes available to client computers the Da-Lite screen as a serial device (enabled by the RS-232 Interface). The Ethernet Adapter supports the suite of RS-232 commands developed under the RS-232 Interface, and allows those commands to be issued by an Ethernet enabled computer or third-party controller.
